Tour departure at 3:40 p.m. From the Airport we will cross towards the Lluta Valley where we will have a view of both valleys. We will have lunch en route. We will appreciate the candelabra cactus and the magnetic zone, we will visit a pre-Inca fortress in Copaquilla and we will visit a pre-mountain village Socoroma 3000 meters above sea level. We will take a walk to this town for approximately 1 hour, small break (coffee and cookies). Arrival in Putre 3500 MSN at 7:30 p.m. approximately. Dinner and accommodation.
Departure from the accommodation in Putre at 08:30 hrs. approx. We will have breakfast in Putre or in Termas de Jurasi. To continue later to Bofedal de las Cuevas where we will take a 40-minute walk. Along the way we will see wild vicuñas, vizcachas and we will get to know wetlands, the basis of the ecosystem in the high plateau (Mirador Bofedal de Parinacota). We will be able to admire a great variety of birds such as the northern pitios, guallatas, taguas, among others. We will admire Lake Chungara, and Cotacotani Lagoons, returning to Putre. Dinner.
Departure from Putre at 07:00 hrs. approx. Breakfast Bofedal de las Cuevas (4310 meters above sea level). Later visiting Ancuta and Guallatire, two highland towns above 4000 meters of altitude at the foot of the active Guallatire volcano. Arriving at the Surire Salt Flats at 12:00 hrs. approx. We will visit Chilcaya, taking a walk of approximately one hour, to photograph the flora and fauna in this National Monument; Then we go to the Polloquere Hot Springs at 4270 meters above sea level, picnic and baths in this place. Departure towards Mulluri – Mirador de Arabilla, Enquelga. We will visit the Isluga Volcano National Park, where we will see its church and abundance of wetlands. Arriving in Colchane at approximately 7:00 p.m. Dinner and accommodation.
First breakfast. We cross the Bolivian border through the Salar de Coipasa, Salar de Uyuni near the village of Llica, Tahua, accommodation at the Tayka de Sal hotel. Dinner.
First breakfast. Chillquilla, Pucara de Chillima, Incahuasi Island, Mala Mala Bay, towards the Cueva Galaxia, San Pedro de Quemes. Dinner and accommodation at Tayka de Piedra hotel.
After breakfast visit San Pedro de Quemes, Laguna Cañapa, Laguna Hedionda, Laguna Honda and Ramaditas. Box lunch, then we head to Ollague, to continue to Calama, this will be a very intense day and then rest in Calama. Dinner and accommodation.
